Wat ga je doen als IT Support Specialist?
As an IT Support Specialist you have different responsibilities:
- You provide technical assistance to computer end users by answering questions or resolving technical problems for clients by phone and email;
- You provide assistance concerning the use of computer software, including but not limited to business systems, reporting, printing, connectivity, producivity applications and operating systems.
As an IT Support Specialist you also have different duties on your working day:
- You follow policies, routines and instructions as relevant for the position. Maintain confidentiality of proccesed information;
- You provide first-level IT support to end-users, software troubleshooting and support for all software and hardware needs of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN/WAN systems, mobiles and similar devices;
- You coordinate, procurement, setup, distribution, inventory, imaging and maintenance of all end user technologies;
- You identify, research and resolve technical problems for individuals and groups in an efficient manner.

our client produces aluminum and magnesium products voor the car industry. They make car parts for different car brands and they have other locations in the Netherlands and outside the Netherlands.
In a foundry with different robots they make the best products in a large production hall. In this hall are people working in different teams, so the work can be on 24/7.
Wat wij vragen:
As an IT Support Specialist you can recognise yourself in the next few requirements:
- You have the ability to effectively deal with vendors/suppliers/customers;
- You have knowledge of basic networking like Cisco switches, routers and troubleshooting;
- You have English and Dutch communication skills;
- You have experience in the function and at least an MBO-4 graduation.
